High-Grade Professional Education Centre was established in May, 1988 by Prof. Williams A.O.Egbuta as a multi-Professional Training Centre. The primary purpose of the Centre is to provide a forum for student training and development for sound management of human and material resources at home, in industry and commerce.

Since its inception in 1988, the centre has produced many students at lower and middle level manpower. It has also produced high caliber professionals who today hold senior level positions and are contributing to the Political, Social and Economic development of their countries.

Apart from developing and training within its own curricular and faculties, programmes in the centre are tailored towards making students sound professionals who are capable of practicing in their individual fields. The centre training programmes are made to cover the Course contents of the following professional bodies all over the World.

• The Institute of Chartered Economists

The students of the Institute have continued to grow over the years and the centre has continued to receive recognition, Affiliation, Awards and International Partnership from Institution of higher learning both within Nigeria and Overseas.
